NFWF Grants Open for
Fish and Wildlife Conservation
The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation has a handful of Requests for Proposals open for grants supporting projects that sustain, restore, and enhance habitats across the Intermountain West!
The first proposal, centered in the Columbia River Basin, is due August 24. Those in the Northern Great Plains looking to improve native grasslands should submit proposals by October 21. And Colorado-based projects focused on connectivity across habitats should submit proposals by October 28.

Rob Williams Award for Emerging Environment and Public Policy Leaders
Applications for the Rob Williams Award for Emerging Environment and Public Policy Leaders are due August 25! This award goes to an emerging practitioner who demonstrates the leadership exemplified by Rob Williams, a man committed to the field of environmental and public policy dispute resolution.
Environmental and public policy practitioners with 1-5 years of experience with an interest in future involvement in the Association for Conflict Resolution are encouraged to apply. Call for Colorado Water Projects Balancing Demand, Economy, and Environment
Colorado's Metro Roundtable is seeking grant proposals for its 2021 Water Supply Reserve Fund Basin Grant process. Projects can be statewide or specific to a local basin. They should address existing or future municipal and industrial water demands in combination with long-term sustainability goals of agricultural economies and the environment. Those with projects falling into one of these five priority topics are encouraged to apply: conceptual projects in-basin and transbasin, conservation and reuse, environmental and recreation, implementation of hard infrastructure improvements, and education and outreach.

From Green Infrastructure to Rain Gardens in Upcoming Stormwater Education Series
This fall, sit in on the Stormwater Education Series co-hosted by the Colorado Stormwater Center, Northern Water, and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. This free series will have three parts:
- August 19: "Green Infrastructure Overview"
- September 9: "How to Incorporate Rain Gardens into your Next Waterwise Landscape Project"
- October 21: "Taking Care of Stormwater Infrastructure"
Each event is available to join in-person or virtually (and virtual sessions are also available in Spanish).
